Carmen Thyssen Collection

The museum has installed a new display of the Carmen Thyssen Collection in its galleries on the ground floor. It now has a direct entrance from the main hall which is separate to that of the permanent collection. This new location and presentation will allow the collection to be rediscovered, now with a more coherent, global vision. The display is chronological, starting with 17^th century Dutch painting and concluding with 20^th century art. Include works by Canaletto, Fragonard, Courbet, Boudin, Monet, Sisley, Renoir, Degas, Gauguin, Rodin, Matisse, Picasso and Kirchner, amongst others.
