Doctor of Architecture and graduate of the Madrid University School of Architecture (ETSAM). She has been recognised by the RIBA as an honorary international fellow. Since 2001, she has directed the firm Izaskun Chinchilla Arquitectos. Chinchilla is also a Professor of Architectural Practice at the Bartlett School and Visiting Associate Professor at Hong Kong University. She recently published a book titled La ciudad de los cuidados (2020).

Writer and journalist. Del Molino is the author of La España vacía (2016), among other essays. He won the Ojo Crítico and Tigre Juan prizes for La hora violeta (2013) and the Espasa Award for Lugares fuera de sitio (2018). His novels include La piel (2020) and Lo que a nadie le importa (2014). His latest book is Contra la España vacía (2021).
