Art and science entered Juan Varela Simó’s life at a very young age, and thanks to that combination today he helps us to see the sky in a different light. Walking through nature with this biologist and artist allows us to understand the fundamental role that birds play in ecosystem conservation, reflect on humanity’s relationship with the planet and explore how painting has contributed to scientific knowledge.
