The loan of Portrait of a young Man praying (recto) and Vase of Flowers (verso) by Hans Memling, and Portrait of Johann von Rückingen (?) (recto) and Figure with a coat of arms (verso) by Wolfgang Beurer - both to the exhibition Hidden Faces. Covered Portraits of the Renaissance to be held at the Metropolitan Museum in New York from 2 April to 7 July - is the starting point for the next activity in the Travelling with the painting programme, which reaches its sixteenth edition.

In addition to visiting this exhibition at the Metropolitan, the cultural itinerary organised for the trip, which starts in Chicago, will include visits to the principal museums in both cities and to several important private collections, as well as the chance to spend time appreciating the unique architecture, urban life and food in both places.
