Art and Health II. Mental Health
The Fundación Cultura en Vena brings together the cultural and health sectors at the museum to address the links between art and mental health in an unprecedented event to be hold on 10 October, coinciding with International Mental Health Day.
Researchers, psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists, social educators, film producers, musicians, writers, actors and illustrators will take part in round table discussions and artistic interventions on mental health.
The project is completed by an exhibition in the museum's Central Hall, open from 6 to 22 October, with life-size replicas of famous works by Ghirlandaio, Rubens and Rembrandt, digitally intervened to reflect on mental disorders.
