Guided tours and live music

In the lead-up to International Flamenco Day the museum and Amazon Music are exclusively presenting Ángeles Toledano's latest recording, “Sin Ti No Soy Nada (Amazon Music Original)” and Bewitchment crosses boundaries, a unique thematic tour devised for the occasion.

Artistic creation is a journey that starts from the primitive, a profound echo which leaves a trace to be discovered in each work. This thematic tour is an encounter between painting and music, in which their languages fuse and interact in order to create unique stories; an example of how the captivating bewitchment inherent to art is capable of expressing itself in any of its manifestations.

Participants in these free guided tours travel from the 19th century, starting with works by Gaertner, Monet and Degas, to the 20th century, with canvases by Grosz, Miró and Kandinsky, among other great names of painting.

The principal work in this tour, Picture with three Spots, No. 196 by the Russian artist Wassily Kandinsky, gives visual form to Kandinsky’s desire to create an equivalent to music in painting through a style capable of evoking emotions and one which, remote from external reality, would become the expression of the artist's inner strength.

Again free of charge, participants can also be among the first to hear Ángeles Toledano in a live performance of her latest recording “Sin Ti No Soy Nada (Amazon Music Original)”, one of the most iconic songs of the Zaragozan pop-rock band Amaral, in a performance in the museum's Auditorium.
