Friends could enjoy a special concert organised in conjunction with the temporary exhibition Architectural Paintings. The programme of the concert, entitled “Windows onto Utopia”, corresponded to the time-span of the exhibition itself and aims to show that as in painting, music can recreate ideal worlds, be they imaginary or derived from a mythical classical past.

The soprano Laura Alcalde, accompanied by Pedro Iglesias (harpsichord) and Jore Miró (viola da gamba), performed works by Josquín des Prés, William Byrd, Claudio Monteverdi, Henry Purcell, Georg Friederic Handel and Johann Sebastian Bach.
