Lecture series On Antonio Lopez

Towards the end of the Antonio López exhibition, the Museum organised an associated activity in the form of a series of four lectures on 13, 15, 20 and 22 September of 2014. The first of them, Interview with the Artist, took the form of a dialogue between López himself and Guillermo Solana, the Museum’s Artistic Director and the exhibition’s curator. Solana also gave the lecture on Thursday 22, entitled Antonio López and the History of Art. The other two talks, Antonio López: ten works and Antonio López: forbidden reality, gave by Francisco Calvo Serraller and Javier Viar, two leading experts in the work of this artist from La Mancha.
