On the occasion of Gabriele Münter's first retrospective exhibition in Spain, the museum organizes a series of conferences in which a group of specialists analyze various aspects of his long and multifaceted career.

Over five talks they will look in depth at an artist who, despite her significant contribution to European art at the start of the 20th century, continues to be largely unknown in Spain. The series will analyse her role in the development of German Expressionism while highlighting less well known periods of her career, including her beginnings as an amateur photographer and her connections with the New Objectivity movement.

Director: Marta Ruiz del Árbol.
Coordination: Esther Navarro.
