Lecture Series Tears of Eros

Every Saturday of the November of 2009, the Museum’s Artistic Director, Guillermo Solana, gave a lecture on various issues related to the contents and argument of the exhibition Tears of Eros, of which he was the curator. Eve and the Serpent, The Kiss, Eternal Sleep, and Bound in Chains are the four topics that he has selected with the intention of allowing those attending to learn more about the exhibition’s fascinating subject: the relationship between Eros and Thanatos and its depiction in art over the centuries.
