To coincide with the temporary exhibition The Impressionists and photography, the latest edition of the drawing workshop Painting with Friends will focus on the impact of the invention of photography on art.

Making use of equipment such as a small camera obscura, cardboard visors and even mobile phone cameras, participants will look back to the origins of photography in order to learn about the compositional structures and photographic techniques employed by Impressionist painters in works such as those in the Thyssen collection.
