Picasso: The Sacred and the Profane, visit with the curator
Guided visit
- 11 December 2023 and 8 January 2024
Friends can enjoy a private guided tour of Picasso: The Sacred and the Profane by Paloma Alarcó, curator of the exhibition and Chief Curator of Modern Painting at the museum, on 11 December, or by Clara Marcellán, technical curator of the exhibition and curator of Modern Painting at the museum, on 8 January.
The exhibition is the final project in the series of events associated with “Celebration Picasso 1973-2023”, organised to mark the 50th anniversary of the artist’s death. It analyses the way in which the artist approached both the classical world and themes from the Judeo-Christian tradition, combining the divine and the human in his work.
Exhibition organized with the support of the National Commission for the Commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the death of the Spanish artist Pablo Picasso and with the exceptional support of Musée national Picasso-París
