To close the events organised around the exhibition Pop Art Myths, the artist Eduardo Arroyo gave a lecture entitled Pop Art, etc. Arroyo, as one of the most important figures in Spanish Pop Art, inevitably had a number of his works being shown in this exhibition. His paintings included Jose Maria Blanco White Threatened by his Followers in London (1978) in the ‘History Painting’ section of the exhibition, and Clothed Man Descending a Staircase (1976) in the ‘Art about Art’ section.
