The Brazilian collector Luis Paulo Montenegro has chosen the Sala de Arte Santander to present his important art collection to the public for the first time.

The exhibition’s curator Rodrigo Moura has selected more than 200 works which reveal the artistic preferences of this collector, who initially focused on Brazilian Modernism, followed by Latin American art and Brazilian and international Concrete art, and most recently contemporary art. Willem de Kooning, Lucio Fontana, Vik Muniz, Andy Warhol, Alexander Calder, Lygia Page and Carlos Cruz-Díez are among the artists represented in the exhibition. Booking opens on 22 May.
