A new edition in the Short Visits programme, on this occasion with the Basque Country as its destination: over two days Friends can visit the Museo Cristóbal Balenciaga, which is inaugurating its new exhibition Collecting Elegance, devoted to Mrs Mellon; enjoy a private tour of the Museo Chillida-Leku led by the artist’s son Luis Chillida; and take part in a private tour at the Museo Guggenheim, Bilbao, of the exhibition Abstract Expressionism, to which the Museo Thyssen has lent Willem de Kooning’s Abstraction, led by the exhibition’s curator Lucía Aguirre.
