A talk is slated for 19.30 on Thursday 10 January in connection with the exhibition Beckmann. Exile Figures to discuss exile from various viewpoints.

Leticia de Cos, the technical curator of the exhibition, will talk about the painter Max Beckmann’s exile; Nuria Díaz, advocacy and social participation coordinator for the Comisión Española de Ayuda al Refugiado (CEAR), will explain the current situation of exiles and refugees; and Carolina Rodríguez López, a lecturer at the faculty of Geography and History of the Complutense University, will provide the historical perspective. The talk will be moderated by the RTVE journalist Alicia G. Montano, vice-president of Reporteros sin Fronteras, who will also present the point of view of the media.
