“Three Dresses”, a dance performance by Nicolas Rambaud inspired by the work of Sonia Delaunay
Dance
- 16 September 2017
Dancers who seem to have escaped from one of Sonia Delaunay’s canvases will give form to this ephemeral choreography – only performed on the one day – created by Nicolas Rambaud.
David Peace, José Luis Sendarrubias and Rambaud himself will offer 6 performances of the work each lasting 5 minutes on the museum’s balcony gallery, with music by Erik Satie (“Je te veux”) played on the piano by Nina Aranda and with costumes by Graciela S. inspired by Delaunay’s colours and designs. The audience can watch the performance from the museum’s main hall with the dancers above them.
