The Friends programme continues with its focus on cutting-edge art through a new cycle of activities entitled The Thyssen on the Street: visits to exhibitions, contemporary art galleries and studios of upcoming artists. The first series takes place in February, March and May.

Coinciding with ARCO, the International Contemporary Art Fair in Madrid, on 29 February Friends of the Museum are invited to the inauguration of the exhibition on Julio Linares in the Hub27 space. In addition, on 28 March there is the chance to visit the exhibition organised by the museum on the New York artist Joan Jonas, as well as various contemporary art galleries. Finally, on 9 May, Friends can discover artist Carlos Fernández’s studio.
