Selected works app
This app discovers a selection of the museum’s most outstanding works: 143 masterpieces by 131 artists that span more than seven centuries of history.
Obras escogidas (Selected Works) invites you to travel through the History of Art, starting with the Italian Primitives of the late Medieval period, followed by the Renaissance, Baroque… and ending in the 20th century with the key movements of Impressionism, Cubism, Surrealism and Pop Art, amongst others. Along the way, we will meet essential artists like Rembrandt, Rubens, Holbein, Caravaggio, Degas, Monet, Picasso, Kandinsky, Rothko and Hopper.
