Bulgari and Rome
This autumn the Museum will be presenting Bvlgari and Rome, an exhibition which reveals how the art and architecture of classical and modern Rome have been the source of inspiration for Maison Bulgari’s designers over the past few decades.
The exhibition will include a selection of works from the Bulgari Heritage Collection that will demonstrate the subtle relationships between the jewels and the paintings, prints and Roman monuments which have inspired them. The pieces inset with cabochons that recreate the city’s domes, the glitter of the gold (white or yellow) which recalls the splendour of Baroque volutes, and the geometrical designs that reflect the pure lines of the ruins are some of the details that express Bulgari’s homage to the Eternal City.
