The Space of Memory

The Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza is presenting The Space of Memory, an exhibition organized by its Education Department in order to share the work produced over the past few years by Nos+otras en red [Women online].
First started in 2015 in order to focus on the issue of gender, it benefits from the collaboration of various women’s associations and the Province of Lugo’s Museum Network, as well as the support of the Edmond de Rothschild Foundation.
Over the course of various weeks the Museum will be presenting the creative process of participants in the workshops devised by artists Paula Cabaleiro, Mónica Mura, Paula Noya and Mery Pais, which take their starting point from works in the permanent collection. Displayed alongside will be the works by these four artists that provided the initial concept for the project.
