Sonia Delaunay. Art, design and fashion exhibition
Sonia Delaunay. Art, design and fashion is the first monographic exhibition on this artist in Spain. Together with her husband, the painter Robert Delaunay, Sonia Delaunay embarked on an artistic adventure that ultimately took her towards abstraction, based on her use of colour contrasts and dissolving form through light. The Autonomous Community of Madrid is supporting the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in this exhibition, which shines a spotlight on one of the most significant female figures in the Parisian avant-garde movement.
