Lectures The Death of Hyancinthus by Giambattista Tiepolo

Just prior to end of the exhibition The Restoration and technical study of Tiepolo’s ‘The Death of Hyacinthus’, which closes on 14 January, the museum is holding two lectures on the artist and his work. Guillermo Solana, the Thyssen’s artistic director, will be discussing Tiepolo and the forms of Eros, while Susana Pérez, head officer of the museum’s restoration department, will talk about the subject of the exhibition, technical issues and the recent restoration of the painting at the museum.
