Temporary exhibition focus: Victor Vasarely. The birth of Op Art
Guided visit
- 10, 11 and 17 June 2018
Victor Vasarely is one of the most important figures within geometrical abstract art. His experiments with spatially ambiguous and optically dynamic structures first emerged on the art world with the label Op Art in the 1960s, giving rise to a short-lived but remarkably popular trend.
Within the Temporary exhibition focus programme, this summer Friends of the Museum can visit the exhibition on this Hungarian artist, in private and accompanied by an art historian.
