Trip to Switzerland

To mark the Balthus retrospective that opens at the Museum in spring 2019, Friends in the Patron, Honour, Benefactor and Corporate categories will have the opportunity to travel to Switzerland in November to visit the exhibition’s first venue, Fondation Beyeler in Basel, and the artist's house and studio in Rossinière.

Led by the museum's artistic director, Guillermo Solana, the three-day trip will provide participants with an insight into one of the grand masters of 20th-century art and his highly personal style that defies classification.
