Temporary exhibition focus: Beckmann. Exile figures

This autumn the museum is holding a monographic exhibition on Max Beckmann, one of the most prominent German artists of the twentieth century. More than fifty works illustrate his style, which is realistic but full of symbolic resonances that reflect the society of his time.

Friends of the Museum will be able to enjoy a private guided tour of the exhibition galleries on 28 and 29 October and 18 November.
