On 20 October, a few days prior to its release in cinemas, Friends of the museum can enjoy a private viewing of Egon Schiele in the museum’s auditorium.

Based on Hilde Berger’s novel and directed by Dieter Berner, the film sets out to address the meaning of the paintings of one of the most important Austrian artists of the twentieth century -who is represented in the Thyssen collections- through his life story.
