Monographic course The Savage’s Journey

The influence on 19^th- and 20^th-century artists of the exotic and of travels to unknown lands were the focus of this monographic course organised in conjunction with a temporary exhibition presented at the Museum, in this case Gauguin and the Voyage to the Exotic. Journey of the Savage was the title chosen for this course, led by Professor Francisco Calvo Serraller and benefits from the participation of art historians, museum curators and anthropologists.
