Film Cycle Monet and Abstraction

In conjunction with Monet and Abstraction, the Museum organised a film cycle that includes a number of outstanding titles related to the subject of the exhibition. They include Partie de champagne (1936) by Jean Renoir and Pollock (2000), directed by and starring Ed Harris. The cycle also included recent films on Monet, including Monet, Light and Shadow (1999) by David Devine, and two cartoons aimed at young children: Linnea in Monet’s Garden and In the deep Midwinter.
