Otto Dix concert. The classics meet cabaret
Music
- 11 May 2008
The Museum had organised a concert exclusively for Friends of the Museum, coinciding with the exhibition devoted to Otto Dix. “The Classics meet Cabaret” offers the chance to enjoy works by leading 20th-century composers. As in cabaret music, Otto Dix found the inspiration for his social satires in everyday life. Works by Eric Satie, Igor Stravinsky and Arnold Schönberg offer music filled with caricatural humour inspired by the life and times of that period.
