Study Day The Impressionists and Photography

Throughout history the world has not only been seen from multiple perspectives but has also been reproduced in many different ways.

In conjunction with the exhibition The Impressionists and Photography the museum is organising a study day of lectures. It will focus on the synergy between photography and Impressionist painting while also emphasising the debate on photography’s status as art, which has accompanied it since its invention.
