Claudia Comte. After Nature 

The exhibition Claudia Comte. After Nature, developed by the Swiss artist and presented by the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza and Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary, has had the generous support of the Swiss arts council Pro Helvetia, which promotes Swiss arts and culture with a focus on diversity and high quality. As the Swiss Confederation’s cultural promotion institution, it supports projects of national interest.

Claudia Comte. After Nature brings together a series of sculptures based on coral, created during the artist’s residency in Jamaica as part of the collaborative programme of TBA21-Academy and Alligator Head Foundation. The exhibition represents the artist’s reflection on the importance of coral to the marine ecosystem and the profound impact that its extinction could have for life on our planet.
