Monographic course The Magritte machine

To coincide with the exhibition The Magritte machine the museum is organising a monographic course which focuses on different aspects of the work of this key figure in Surrealist painting. 

Together with Guillermo Solana, the museum’s artistic director, the curator of the exhibition, and the director of the course, three further specialists will be participating: Patricia Allmer, professor of modern and contemporary art at Edinburgh University; Xavier Canonne, director of the Musée de la Photographie in Charleroi and curator of the exhibition The Revealing Image; and Emmanuel Guigon, director of the Museu Picasso de Barcelona and an expert on Surrealism
