Once again this year Madrid City Council has organised Madrid Otra Mirada [Madrid: a different Perspective], an initiative designed to introduce visitors to the city’s most magical places. The museum is participating with two guided tours through the itinerary “Origins of the collection”, a thematic tour with which the museum also celebrates its 30^th anniversary.

This tour offers the opportunity to take a closer look at the collecting of the Thyssen family, who in just three generations, managed to assemble what is considered to be the most important private collection in the world.
