Bilbao and Santander are the destinations for the next edition of the Short Trip programme; a three-day visit during the San Isidro public holiday which offers the chance to discover some of these cities’ most important cultural institutions, projects and exhibitions.

The programme starts in Santander with visits to the Centro Botín, the Archivo Lafuente and Las Naves de Gamazo then continues in Bilbao with a visit to see the new extension to the Museo de Bellas Artes and another to José Ramón Prieto’s private collection. Finally there will be a private tour in the Museo Guggenheim of the two temporary exhibitions to which the Museo Thyssen has loaned works from its permanent collection: Joan Miró. Absolute Reality. Paris, 1920-1945 and Oskar Kokoschka. A Rebel from Vienna.
