We are back! Surprise us and surprise yourself with your creativity. We are inviting young creators and creatives from all over the world to reinterpret works from the collection to compete for new prizes. If you are between 16 and 35 years old, participate on Instagram in this competition that has no limitations of artistic discipline or theme.

Los Bravú @losbravu are the guest artists and members of the jury for this edition. Their work, inspired by various paintings from the collection, will be showcased during the Pride celebrations in Madrid on July 6, in which the museum will participate in the main march.

Requirements for participation

Creators between the ages of 16 and 35, from anywhere in the world, can participate. If you are a minor, you must send us an authorisation to a versiona@museothyssen.org.
Post your version from a public Instagram account including hashtags #VersionaThyssen20 and #VersionaThyssen, mention to a @museothyssen, and the title of your work and of the original painting.
You can participate with more than one version.
The work must be published between 3 June and 7 July 2024.
If you would like your work to be exhibited at the museum on the day of the competition presentation, pleasesend it to us.

Contest rules

Authorization for under-age participants

Up to €1,000 in prizes

6 prizes of between €500 and €1.000 and advantages in the museum.
Prior Art Space special prize for an artistic residency lasting 1 to 3 months, with all expenses covered (to be awarded after the last edition of the year).

Walk through the rooms of the collection in semi-darkness and discover a selection of the versions of this edition, projected next to the original paintings. We will announce the winning works and we will have a concert to close the party... all the details soon!
