Restorer in the reintegration process

The activity is aimed at professionals in the conservation-restoration and cultural and artistic heritage sectors, museum staff, and groups of undergraduate or postgraduate students interested in learning about the various treatments involved in restoring artworks and how these departments are run.

It is an enriching experience of great educational and academic value, as it helps these students understand the application of scientific and technical issues in the field of the restoration of artistic heritage. They have the chance to view the infrastructure of our facilities, and the restoration processes and methodologies used on pieces made of different materials are explained to them.

The visit shows how professional conservation and restoration work is carried out in the institutional environment through the various activities involved and complements academic training with a view to the students' professional future.
