Study of the technique of a masterpiece: At the Milliner's, by Degas
The María Cristina Masaveu Peterson Foundation continues its commitment to the arts by supporting the museum in this project.
The aim of this project is to study the technique of one of the most emblematic works in the Museo Nacional Thyssen Bornemisza, the work by Hilaire-Germain- Edgar Degas entitled At the Milliner's.
The study will be carried out by and for the preventive conservation of the work; studying it will allow us to gain a better knowledge of it, of the materials of which it is composed and of its current state of conservation. The results obtained seek to teach in depth the works in the collection for their conservation and dissemination.
