Bankinter
As part of its "A bank for everyone" program, Bankinter has been developing an inclusive strategy based on the establishment of policies aimed at the financial and social inclusion of all people regardless of their abilities or age.
To this end, the bank has been working for more than 20 years on the physical, digital and cognitive accessibility of its environments, products, channels and services. Along these lines, the bank also focuses its resources on the integration of all types of audiences, seeking to involve its partners and other stakeholders in the elimination of barriers that hinder the social and cultural inclusion of people with hearing disabilities. Thanks to the collaboration of Bankinter we completed the signoguide with subtitles of the museum's permanent collection with 32 new descriptions and we are expanding sign language by creating 250 new terms related to the world of Art.
Thanks to the collaboration of Bankinter, people with hearing disabilities will be able to enjoy the interpretation of the most relevant works of the permanent collection of the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza, completing the ambitious measures that the museum has implemented in terms of accessibility.
The bank has been operating in the financial sector for over 20 years through the project A Bank for Everyone, an inclusive strategy designed to make its channels, products, and services accessible to people with various disabilities. Furthermore, as part of its social responsibility efforts, it collaborates on initiatives aimed at improving accessibility, such as the one we are discussing here. This particular project is especially meaningful to us, as it brings the world of art closer to the deaf community. It explains and makes key terms from this often overly technical field accessible and understandable in a language adapted for everyone.
