On the occasion of Gabriele Münter's first retrospective exhibition in Spain, the museum organized a series of conferences in which a group of specialists analyzed various aspects of his long and multifaceted career.

Over five talks they looked in depth at an artist who, despite her significant contribution to European art at the start of the 20th century, continued to be largely unknown in Spain. The series analysed her role in the development of German Expressionism while highlighting less well-known periods of her career, including her beginnings as an amateur photographer and her connections with the New Objectivity movement.
