Monographic course Madrid Realists

A total of eight lectures focused on both general aspects of the realist style shared by all the artists represented in the exhibition, as well as the elements that differentiate and define them individually. The course benefited from lectures by the writer Gustavo Martín Garzo, the film director Carlos Heredero, university professors such as José María Parreña (Universidad Complutense) and María de los Santos García Felguera (Universidad Pompeu Fabra). And finally the artists themselves, namely Antonio López, Isabel Quintanilla, Francisco López and Julio López, who took part in a round table-colloquium with the Museum’s Artistic Director Guillermo Solana.
